Women Journalists without chains: 2005 is a black year for press “with all measurements” and monitored 50 infringement cases

Women Journalists without chains published its first annual report about press freedom in Yemen in 2005 clarifying that it was the black year for Yemeni press “with all measurements”.

WJWCshowed in its report that it collect more than 50 attack cases Yemeni press faced without judicial sentences.

WJWC pointed that press square in Yemen witnessed through 2005 hot events effected journalists and many press institutions. It noticed that what 2005 is unique from previous years that press institutions were infringed without either sanction or fear from punishment.

WJWC director mentioned in her talk in the report that WJWC while publishing this report about press reality in yemen through 2005 that was a black year on Yemen press with all measurements and hoping 2006 to be better and less misery.
