WJWC calls for releasing worker of ICRC

Solidarity Statement

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) denounces the crime of detaining a worker of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) Nuran Hawas while she was heading to her job in Sana'a on December 2015.

While WJWC expresses deep concern over the safety of Nuran, she considers this act as a crime against humanity which contradicts all values and traditions of Yemenis, calling the kidnappers to immediately release Nuran Hawas.
