WJWC concludes course of " Your own project"

WJWC concludes course of " Your own project"

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) have concluded a course entitled " Your own project" which lasted four days. They were trained by the lecturer Safwan Farhan.

In the first day, the participants were briefed on concept of private project and its importance in strengthening the communities. In the second day, the trainees were divided into groups and trained on drafting proposals in general. In the third day, the trainer focused on the concept of the private project and its connection to available potentials.
They were also taught on how to plan depending on their potentials. In the last day, proposals of some projects prepared by participants were raised and discussed.
Arwa al-Hamzi, a trainee, said that she realized that those who have not their own projects live dependent on the community, pointing out that projects build up a community which are able to produce and develop.
Hamzah al-Barakani, a trainee, said that the course aimed to enable the participants to have a clear objectives and achieve them. Another trainee, Taghreed Bahaidar, a student of mass communication, said it learned from the course how to depend on herself.
Abdullah Qaid al-Shara'abi said he gained knowledge of planning to project and how to benefit from available potentials.
The coordinator of the course, Elham al-Hudabi said that such courses are an important factor for building up the community.
