WJWC launches program on journalism role in combating corruption, enhancing good governance

Women Journalists Without chains in collaboration with the Middle East Partnership Initiative launched its first annual program on the role of journalism in combating corruption and enhancing the principles of good governance.

Twenty journalists started today a training course on investigative journalism in which an international expert trained on combating corruption. They were trained on skills of investigating corruption and criticizing financial and accounting report, public budgets, final accounts and techniques of revealing imbalances.
It is worth reclaiming that the annual program of WJWC focused on journalism's roles in fighting corruption. It also held a number of activities including symposiums, researches and reports which aimed to contribute in fighting corruption and strengthening the good governance principles.
